Job Description

Learn about oil and gas exploration as a specialized Document Scanning Technician with Copyseis Ltd. Responsibilities include organizing, cataloguing, and scanning specialized documents used for oil and gas exploration.The skills learned in this position provide a strong background for advancement within the company and within the industry at our related companies. Work closely with the company owners to develop your skills and learn about the industry. Improve your performance and company processes by bringing ideas directly to decision makers for implementation.Hours of work are 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.ResponsibilitiesOperate scanning equipment to digitize a variety of physical documents.Ensure high-quality image capture by adjusting settings and troubleshooting scanning devices as needed.Perform data entry tasks by accurately inputting information into databases and spreadsheets.Organize physical documents prior to scanning to facilitate efficient workflow.Verify scanned images for clarity, completeness, and accuracy; perform quality control checks regularly.Maintain detailed records of scanned documents.Support data collection initiatives by extracting relevant information from physical files and ensuring proper documentation.QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer skills necessary for data entry and document management.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.Attention to detail to ensure all scanned images meet quality standards; ability to perform data collection accurately.Basic understanding of office equipment such as scanners, photocopiers, and related technology.Pay: $3,250.00-$4,000.00 per monthBenefits:Casual dressDental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingPaid time offVision careWork Location: In person
