We are a not-for-profit licensed child care centre in Toronto committed to providing high?quality early learning in a warm, inclusive, and family?centred environment. We are seeking an organized, proactive, and friendly Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our centre and ensure smooth communication with families, staff, and community partners.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for families, visitors, and community partners in a warm and professional manner.Manage daily administrative operations, including phone, email communication, scheduling, and filing.Maintain accurate child and staff records in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and centre policies.Support enrolment processes, waitlist management, tours and family onboarding.Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks (e.g., receipts, deposits, tracking payments).Prepare and distribute centre communications, RFRK menus, SDRs, notices, and forms.Create and manage staff schedules, training reminders, and documentation tracking.Support compliance tasks with all regulatory bodies, such as health and safety logs, incident report filing, and Ministry documentation.Order and organize office supplies, program materials, and equipment.Provide administrative support to the Supervisor and Director.QualificationsExperience in office administration, preferably in a child care, school, or non?profit setting.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Suite, and comfort with digital record?keeping systems.Experience with child care software (e.g., Lillio/HiMama) is an asset.Knowledge of CCEYA requirements is an asset (training provided if needed).Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.Current Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain).What We OfferA supportive, collaborative team environment.Opportunities for professional development.Competitive compensation based on experience.Meaningful work that supports children, families, and educators.Pay: $52,000.00-$67,340.00 per yearWork Location: In person
